Shaad Khan Fund I is a $15M talent-focused fund investing at pre-seed and seed, run by Shaad Khan as a solo general partner who writes first checks into 30 to 40 companies. His edge is meeting exceptional founders unusually early, and after months of relationship-building, he is positioned as a founder’s first check and most trusted partner.
Shaad Khan grew up in Michigan, studied at McGill and the London School of Economics, and began his career at WeWork in London. He willed his way into venture in 2020, sending around 200 cold emails a week and angel investing what he could, then joined Afore Capital in 2022 as its first investor hire, where he sourced three of the firm’s ten deals in his first year. After Afore, he invested on his own and scouted with Charles Hudson of Precursor Ventures before raising Fund I.
